The team is still relatively young and has plenty of room to grow, and it will be interesting to see how some prospects, including draft pick Kailer Yamamoto, develop throughout this season. If other strikers blame McDavid and Draisaitl, and the forward division tackles problems with defensive depth and scoring early in the season, then the Oilers will have another long playoff streak. Who knows? Maybe they will win too.
